World Jamborees

Chisholm Trail Council

The 1995 World Jamboree in Dronten, Holland was attended by some 28,960 Scouts and staff members from 166 countries and territories. This was the 18th World Jamboree and had the largest participation by countries since the Jamboree had been held.  Some of the activities were held during the Jamboree included the Jamboree Friendship Award, the interreligious ceremony on violence and peace, a Scout Forum and a connection via satellite with Boutros Boutros-Ghali, Secretary-General of the United Nations, celebrating the 50th anniversary of the United Nations.

Several youth and adults atttended the Jamoree from the Chisholm Trail Council.  They went with the DFW contigent.  They were:
