want to thank Janice Williams of Austin, Texas for
sending us this material from the daughter of
William Dewey "Bill" Lawrence, who lived all his
life in Tyler, Texas, and as a Scout, went to the
Area meeting at Camp Tom Wooten in 1941. He
also went on an East Texas Scout Caravan in 1939,
with 165 Scouts, on a two week sightseeing trip
throughout the Southwest.
